2019 Handball World Championship Visual Identity
For the first time the IHF Men’s Handball World Championship will be hosted by two countries: Germany and Denmark. To represent this union graphically, a special logo was designed consisting of the countries’ initials, which together create a handball. Not only the logo, but also the color palette of this visual identity refers to the union of the two hosts: the primary colors black and white stand for the special duality of this “half-and-half” hosted championship, and the secondary colors represent all the other countries and fans participating in the competition.
