Laeiszhalle Hamburg Logo and Visual Identity

The Laeiszhalle is a concert hall/opera house in Hamburg part of the Elbphilharmonie’s group. As of the disclosure of the Elbphilharmonie’s new visual identity, the Laeiszhalle also needed some adjustments on its identity.

The Laeiszhalle new logo and its new visual communication is connected to the Elbphilharmonie's brand identity. The logo icon refers to the building itself and the lettering in the word mark uses the same typography and spacing as the Elbphilharmonie’s one. Conversely, the Laeiszhalle identity is a bit more conservative than the Elpbhilharmonie’s because its musical program is also more traditional. Its identity includes no reflections (opposed to Elbphilharmonie’s reflected design system) because the concert hall is not located on the water.
